White Bread
Simple white bread (basic)
this is an explanation to white bread theat can be used as a basis for other breads.
Equipment
- dough mixer
- oven
Ingredients
- 500 gr plain flour
- 350 gr water
- 10 gr salt
- 25 gr fresh yeast do not mix with salt
- 15 gr sugar
- 1 tbsp oil not olive
Instructions
- mix all yeast with abit of lukewarm water and the sugar. Add some flour to make the base for raising the bread
- Mix all flour with the salt water and the oil
- Mix previous step with yeast part in a dough mixer and let run for 10 minutes
- Hit the dough so all air is taken out and kneed into a ball. Let it raise under a cloth to double the size.
- Hit the dough again and kneed & roll into two standard loafs
- heat oven in preparation for bakin.
- let rise in the breadform until double in size again.
- place tray with water in the bottom of the oven and place the tins in the middle on a rack for 45 minutes.
- drop the bread on a rack to cool and baste with a brush with water.
- for best result let rest for 1hour
